Falesco is the family wine estate of the Cotarella brothers — Riccardo and Renzo, two of Italy's most published consulting oenologists — established in 1979 at Montefiascone, near the Lazio–Umbria border. The estate covers around 270 hectares of vineyards, with Riccardo's daughter Dominga now running operations.

"The Cotarella brothers founded Falesco in 1979 at Montefiascone, on the volcanic shores of Lake Bolsena where the Lazio–Umbria border runs.
