Arnaldo Caprai is an Umbrian wine estate established in 1971 in Montefalco, central Italy. The estate single-handedly rescued Sagrantino — the indigenous Montefalco grape — from near-extinction, and is now the appellation's defining producer. Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG (deep, tannic, ageable red) and Montefalco Rosso are the house references. Big, structural, central-Italian red.
