Shut the Gate Wines was founded in 2007 in the Clare Valley by Richard Woods and Rasa Fabian, after both spent years in commercial wine roles before launching their own label. The range covers Clare Riesling (the house benchmark), Shiraz, Grenache and a small range of single-vineyard wines under storytelling labels.
