Crawford River Riesling 'Museum Release' 2017

Bright in the glass, the calciferous nature of the soils on which this wine grows is unmistakably evident. Lemon curd, custard apple, lime and an omnipresent shell-like character are all there. Clean definition through the palate provides depth of flavour, balance and an underlying power throughout. There is freshness here too, which in a 7 year old wine is a pleasure to see. The wonderful palate length is aided by balanced, soft acidity with the amalgam of flavours lingering throughout the mineral backbone. A thrilling wine
