An aroma of pepper, cinnamon and ginger with rich flavours of dried fruits butter and spices. The viticulture climate is soft and humid with sunny autumns and the soil is made of siliceous clay which is poor in lime, giving Bas Armagnacs a lightness and fragrance with subtle tastes. This Bas-Armagnac uses a variety of grapes (Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche and Baco) and is aged in damp cellars and distilled at around 54-58 degrees. This is lower than other brandies, which provides greater wine flavours but less refinement than cognacs.
