Deep ruby with a violet rim. The nose is perfumed and vibrant: black pepper and dried lavender mingle with dark plum, blackberry compote and a hint of smoked meat. On the palate it’s medium-bodied and silky: juicy black-fruit flavours—boysenberry, black cherry and blueberry—are lifted by bright acidity and framed by fine-grained tannins. Savoury notes of cracked pepper, smoked paprika and a touch of earthy sous-bois add complexity mid-palate, while a whisper of dark chocolate and graphite builds toward the finish.
