Bright in the glass, the calciferous nature of the soils on which this wine grows is unmistakably evident. Lemon curd, custard apple, lime and an omnipresent shell-like character are all there. Clean definition through the palate provides depth of flavour, balance and an underlying power throughout. There is freshness here too, which in a 7 year old wine is a pleasure to see.
