Tramin is the home of Gewürztraminer, and the village claims the best vineyards dedicated to the variety planted around the village the west bank of the Adige valley. The wine has an intense and complex nose, with aromas of tropical fruit, honey, notes of spice and a layer of minerality, all complemented by a hint of smoke. Full bodied, with good structured, balancing acidity and a deliciously long finish. A beautiful almost off-dry wine.
