On the palate it’s medium-bodied and silky: juicy black-fruit flavours—boysenberry, black cherry and blueberry—are lifted by bright acidity and framed by fine-grained tannins. Savoury notes of cracked pepper, smoked paprika and a touch of earthy sous-bois add complexity mid-palate, while a whisper of dark chocolate and graphite builds toward the finish. Long, warm and lingering, it leaves echoes of spice-dust and bramble. Enjoy now with grilled meats or cellar 4–6 years to see deeper savoury nuances emerge.
