What it tastes like.

Frapin Château Fontpinot XO Cognac — a single-estate XO bottled exclusively from eaux-de-vie distilled at Château Fontpinot, the Frapin family château in Ségonzac. 100% Grande Champagne Premier Cru.

Frapin has been farming and distilling on its Grande Champagne estate since 1270 — one of the very few cognac houses owning both vines and stills. Château Fontpinot XO is aged exclusively in dry cellars at the estate, giving more concentration and finer rancio than the standard XO style.

Crystallised orange, dried apricot, walnut, fig, leather and aged Limousin oak. The palate is dense and lifted, with floral Grande Champagne signature, sweet rancio, candied citrus and a very long, dry finish. A reference XO — drink neat from a tulip glass.
