What it tastes like.

Frapin VIP XO Grande Champagne Cognac — 100% Grande Champagne Premier Cru from Maison Frapin, the family estate at Ségonzac that has farmed and distilled cognac since 1270.

The VIP XO is a blend of mature Limousin-oak-aged eaux-de-vie, selected for the floral aromatic precision and rancio length that mark Grande Champagne at this age tier. One of very few cognacs in the XO category produced entirely from estate-grown fruit.

Candied orange peel, dried apricot, vine flower, walnut, fig and Limousin oak spice. The palate carries the signature floral Grande Champagne profile with rounded rancio, vanilla, dried citrus and a long, dry, refined finish. Sip neat, slightly below room temperature, in a tulip glass.

Cognac Frapin is a Grande Champagne family estate based at Segonzac, with vine-growing records in the Frapin family going back to 1270. The estate works 240 hectares of Grande Champagne vineyard surrounding Château de Fontpinot, almost entirely planted to Ugni Blanc.
