Producer profile

Sortilège is the Quebec maple-whisky liqueur from Maison des Futailles in Montréal — aged Canadian whisky blended with pure Quebec maple syrup. The Original uses whisky stocks around 7 years old at a soft, cocktail-friendly 30% ABV; the Prestige is built on 15-year stocks for a slower sipping pour. On the palate it reads woody and sweet, with the maple sitting forward of the whisky rather than behind it.

The wider range covers the Maple Cream whisky liqueur, the Wild Blueberry Maple (maple meets Quebec blueberry), the Pommes apple liqueur, and the Sortilège Rye Whisky 3-year — a straight Canadian rye distilled in Quebec. The Wild North release is a single-batch rye on the same line.

A category of one — there is nothing else quite like Sortilège at our shelf. Pour it neat over ice on a winter night, stir it into a Manhattan variation when you want sweetness without bitter, or use it the way you would maple syrup itself on a plate of pancakes.
