Torre de Picos edition is packaged in a ceramic bottle, which is heated and created in ovens at 1260° Celsius. Each bottle is a work of art is hand painted by artisans in Mexico as a gift for you. Torre de Picos obtains its name because of the pattern of the design painted on the bottle.

For over 50 years, La Cofradia have been distilling and bottling Tequila and it is with this length of experience that has made them one of the finest and best in the market. Tequilera La Cofradía was founded in 1970 in Jalisco, Mexico, on the outskirts of the town of Tequila and on the slopes of the Tequila Volcano — both within the Tequila DOC zone. The distillery has been family-run for over 50 years. La Cofradía operates a traditional production model: stone-lined brick ovens (hornos) for slow-cooking the agave hearts, milling in tahonas/molinos, natural fermentation without added yeasts, and double distillation in stainless-steel pot stills with copper tubing. The volcano-slope location gives the distillery direct access to the rich blue-agave fields of the Tequila highlands.

Beyond its own La Cofradía brand, the distillery serves as the contract-production site for several third-party tequila brands — Casa Noble and Clase Azul (a separately-profiled producer in this catalogue) both have their tequila distilled at La Cofradía under its NOM 1137 designation.
