La Cofradía operates a traditional production model: stone-lined brick ovens (hornos) for slow-cooking the agave hearts, milling in tahonas/molinos, natural fermentation without added yeasts, and double distillation in stainless-steel pot stills with copper tubing. The volcano-slope location gives the distillery direct access to the rich blue-agave fields of the Tequila highlands.
