Eden Mill returned distilling to Guardbridge in Fife in 2014, on a site that had hosted the Haig family's Seggie Distillery from 1810 until the late nineteenth century. Today the operation makes gin, liqueurs and single malt Scotch whisky beside the Eden Estuary, a short drive from St Andrews.

"Eden Mill began as a brewery in 2012 and added a distillery in 2014, becoming Scotland's first combined brewery and distillery in modern times. The site at Guardbridge, on the banks of the River Eden a few miles west of St Andrews, has a long alcohol-making history — the Haig family operated Seggie Distillery there from 1810, and the site later served as a paper mill before the University of St Andrews redeveloped it.
