What it tastes like.

Cantina Terlano's Vorberg is one of the great names of Italian Pinot Bianco — a single-vineyard Riserva from a steep, high-altitude site above the village of Terlano in Alto Adige. Pinot Bianco from Terlano is famous for its remarkable ability to age, with mature bottles holding their freshness for decades.

The 2021 vintage delivered a focused, mineral-driven year in Alto Adige. Expect a sparkling straw-yellow colour and a multifaceted nose of ripe melon, white peach, pear and golden delicious apple, layered with quince jelly, chamomile, pineapple and the flint-mineral lift the Terlano hills are known for. The palate carries the same interplay of fruit and saline minerality — a compact, creamy structure and a long, firmly mineral, spicy close.

A serious food wine — pair with scallops, lobster, roast chicken or hard alpine cheese. Will cellar 10–15 years.
