Castel Faglia
Monogram Franciacorta Blanc de Blancs Brut
What it tastes like.
This traditional sparkling wine is made in Franciacorta DOCG which is located in the heart of Lombardy (North Italy). The producer is the Monogram winery, which in turn is part of Castel Faglia. This Franciacorta Brut Blanc de Blancs is made from 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir grapes. The harvest takes place mid-August, exclusively manually, after which the grapes are transported in crates and then pressed gently. Primary fermentation 80% in stainless steel barrels and 20% in small oak barrels. Secondary fermentation in the bottle (classical method), followed by a maturation of 24 months.
This delicious bubble has a beautiful straw yellow colour with green highlights and has beautiful rich aromas of exotic fruit and citrus fruits. Abundant mousse with a refined and persistent perlage. The taste is rich, soft and balanced with a strong freshness. Advice: drink this wine cool (preferably between 4 and 6 degrees).
This Blanc de Blancs is excellent as an aperitif and also tastes great with various fish species (oysters, caviar, raw fish) and white meat. Made with the same grapes as a champagne and also the same production process is used here.Β

Before you open it.
A few practical answers for storage, delivery, and choosing the right bottle.
How should I store it before opening?
Keep it somewhere cool, dark, and steady. Wine prefers cellar temperature; spirits are happier away from heat and direct sunlight.
How long will it keep once opened?
Wine changes quickly after opening; spirits and liqueurs generally hold longer if capped tightly and kept out of heat. If it is a special bottle, ask before opening and the team can give product-specific guidance.
Can I ask for a similar bottle?
Yes. Contact Caravan with this bottle name and the occasion; the team can suggest a close match, a safer gift, or a step up or down in price.
How is it packed for delivery?
Orders are packed in bottle-safe cartons. If anything arrives damaged or looks wrong, contact the team with your order number and a photo so they can sort the next step.
What about hot weather shipping?
The team avoids making one-size-fits-all promises around heat and carrier timing. For heat-sensitive or cellar bottles, contact Caravan before ordering and they can advise the safest dispatch window.
