This off-dry estate Riesling marries a delicate fruitiness with the herbal spice of a dry Riesling. Juicy flavors, an incredible exchange of sweetness and acidity, and slate whispers make this a true drinking pleasure. And yet it is ultimately the playful and fruit-driven nature of off-dry Riesling that delivers the ultimate in summer wine refreshment.

Fritz Haag is a family wine estate in Brauneberg on the Mosel, producing Riesling exclusively from the Brauneberger Juffer and Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr vineyards. Both sites face south on steep Devonian slate above the river and are among the Mosel's highest-classified parcels. Oliver Haag took over from his father Wilhelm in 2005 and runs the estate today.

The Haag family has farmed in Brauneberg on the Middle Mosel since 1605. The estate's signature vineyards — Brauneberger Juffer and Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr — are classified as Grosse Lage (Grand Cru equivalent) by the German VDP. Both sit on steep, south-facing blue Devonian slate above the Mosel, on slopes typically pitched at 60–70 percent.
