"Taylor & Smith works out of a converted shed in Moonah, on Hobart's northern fringe. Ben Taylor and Natalie Smith launched the distillery in 2017, with Ben building the 400-litre copper pot still on the property. The first gin run was released in December 2018, funded through a Pozible crowdfunding campaign, and the range has since expanded to include a Dry Gin, a Sloe Gin and a line of bottled cocktails — Negroni, Hanky Panky, Dirty Martini and Army & Navy.
