Producer profile

"Jules Desfrièches founded the estate in 1919 at Saint-Désir-de-Lisieux, in the heart of the Pays d'Auge. The family has worked through five generations, expanding the orchard to roughly 45 hectares planted with traditional Normandy cider apple varieties — the bittersweet and bittersharp varieties used for cider and Calvados, rather than dessert apples.
