"Nagano Meijo (ไฟกๅทž้Š˜้†ธ / Shinshลซ Meijล) is one of Nagano Prefecture's eighty-plus sake breweries, located in the city of Nagano in the central Japanese Alps. The Tanada line takes its name from the terraced rice paddies on the surrounding mountain slopes โ€” ""tanada"" being the Japanese term for these stepped, hand-built fields. The brewery sources sake rice from those alpine terraces.
