Fabien Duveau works small parcels in the Saumur appellation south of Saumur in the central Loire. The local soils are tuffeau, the soft chalk-limestone that runs through Touraine, Anjou and Saumur and gives the region's whites their cool minerality and the reds their structured, fresh character.

The range is short — Saumur Blanc (100% Chenin) from La Hunaudière, and Saumur Champigny (100% Cabernet Franc) from the Les Menais lieu-dit.
