This vintage is a little lighter on muscat notes than previous years, but they’re still pleasingly present: ripe tropical fruit and baked goods play nicely with vanilla and rosewater on the nose. The palate is deep, juicy and Chardonnay-driven—green apple and nashi pear meet oodles of citrus (mandarin, lime zest, ruby grapefruit). Ample fruit character continues through the finish as the acid gently lifts.
