What it tastes like.

Sourced from some of the most sought after vineyards in California, our Pinot Noir blends fruit from the growing regions of cool climate Arroyo Seco, breezy Clarksburg and sunny Lodi.

Bright red raspberries and cherries sparkle both in the glass and in the aromatics of this lovely and elegant red wine.  The full, yet subtle entry leads to flavors of ripe blackberry, cherry preserves and touches of cloves and anise.  Velvety and full of finesse from barrel aging, the wine finishes with medium tannins and touches of brown sugar and allspice.

About Bogle.

California ·Est. 1968

Bogle Family Vineyards was founded by Warren Bogle in 1968, with core vineyards on Merritt Island in the Sacramento River Delta, California. The Delta's alluvial soils and cool afternoon winds suit Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Chardonnay. The winery released its first commercial vintage in 1979. Second-generation owners Chris and Jody Bogle now lead the operation; Bogle is among the largest landowners on Merritt Island.

Bottle questions

Before you open it.

A few practical answers for storage, delivery, and choosing the right bottle.

How should I store it before opening?

Keep it somewhere cool, dark, and steady. Wine prefers cellar temperature; spirits are happier away from heat and direct sunlight.

How long will it keep once opened?

Wine changes quickly after opening; spirits and liqueurs generally hold longer if capped tightly and kept out of heat. If it is a special bottle, ask before opening and the team can give product-specific guidance.

Can I ask for a similar bottle?

Yes. Contact Caravan with this bottle name and the occasion; the team can suggest a close match, a safer gift, or a step up or down in price.

How is it packed for delivery?

Orders are packed in bottle-safe cartons. If anything arrives damaged or looks wrong, contact the team with your order number and a photo so they can sort the next step.

What about hot weather shipping?

The team avoids making one-size-fits-all promises around heat and carrier timing. For heat-sensitive or cellar bottles, contact Caravan before ordering and they can advise the safest dispatch window.

Why Caravan backs Bogle

California

Clarksburg sits in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, where tidal influence and the heavy peat soils create a cool, fog-moderated microclimate despite the valley's hot summer temperatures. The Bogle family has farmed here since the 1960s and now manages one of the larger estate vineyard holdings in the Delta. The Phantom red blend, centred on Petite Sirah, is the range's reference bottling; broader varietals cover Chardonnay, Merlot and Old Vine Zinfandel.
