What it tastes like.

To be considered among the most famous Italian wines in the world, a great red of character, traditional and elegant. The 2016 vintage won 99 points in the guide of LUCA GARDINI. The 2015 vintage was awarded by DECANTER with the gold medal and won 95 points, in addition to LUCA GARDINI 97 points, JAMES SUCKLING 92, WINE ENTHUSIAST 90, FALSTAFF 93.

"Intensity on the nose, a great spiciness together with an extraordinary roundness in the mouth. Fragrance of tannins and a juicy taste that ends with a convincing persistence." LUCA GARDINI

"A fresh and tangy Brunello that is clean and bright with a light body, very fine tannins and a citrusy and lightly fruity finish. Drink now. ..."JAMES SUCKLING

"It offers earthy aromas of black berries, Mediterranean herbs and a touch of leather. Juicy palate, ripe red cherry, black raspberry and black spices along with a mineral note at the closing. Well balanced, a rustic and even salty charm. It will develop complexity over time"KERIN O'KEEFE– WINE ENTHUSIAST

"Concentrated ruby with orange tinges. Closed nose with only a hint of pinecone. Sappy, tangy cherry fruit and ripe tannins. Wellmannered and well behaved"JANCIS ROBINSON

"Powerful and concentrated but elegant. Fine-grained tannins and brisk acidity provide the framework and allow red berries, cherries and plums to shine, ably complemented by more elemental earthy, herbal and salt elements." DECANTER

Bottle questions

Before you open it.

A few practical answers for storage, delivery, and choosing the right bottle.

How should I store it before opening?

Keep it somewhere cool, dark, and steady. Wine prefers cellar temperature; spirits are happier away from heat and direct sunlight.

How long will it keep once opened?

Wine changes quickly after opening; spirits and liqueurs generally hold longer if capped tightly and kept out of heat. If it is a special bottle, ask before opening and the team can give product-specific guidance.

Can I ask for a similar bottle?

Yes. Contact Caravan with this bottle name and the occasion; the team can suggest a close match, a safer gift, or a step up or down in price.

How is it packed for delivery?

Orders are packed in bottle-safe cartons. If anything arrives damaged or looks wrong, contact the team with your order number and a photo so they can sort the next step.

What about hot weather shipping?

The team avoids making one-size-fits-all promises around heat and carrier timing. For heat-sensitive or cellar bottles, contact Caravan before ordering and they can advise the safest dispatch window.
